At Disobedience, we pride ourselves on crafting unique, handcrafted footwear using time-honoured techniques through artisan shoemakers. To ensure transparency, here's everything you need to know about our shipping process
Processing Time
All shoes are made to order and require 7-10 business days to craft from the date your is places. Once ready, we'll notify you via email with tracking details.
Shipping Options
Domestic Shipping (India)
- Free Shipping: We offer free shipping across India.
- Delivery Timeline: Orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days after shipping confirmation.
- Logistics Partners: Packages are shipped via DTDC or Bluedart from our factory in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
- We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD).
International Shipping
- Shipping Fee: A flat rate of USD 40 applies to all international orders.
- Delivery Timeline: Allow 10–28 business days for delivery after shipping confirmation.
- Customs & Duties: Customers are responsible for customs fees, taxes, and import duties in their country. These charges are non-refundable and determined by local authorities.
- Prepaid Only: International orders must be paid in full via credit/debit card; we do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD)
Tracking & Delays
- You’ll receive a tracking link via email once your order ships.
- While we strive for timely delivery, unforeseen delays (e.g., customs, logistics) may occur. Our team will proactively notify you of any changes to your estimated delivery date.
Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care to pack your shoes securely. However, if your order arrives damaged:
1. Notify Within 48 Hours: Email us at support@thedisobedience.com.
2. Provide Proof: Share photos of the damaged shoes and packaging.
3. Resolution: Shoes with manufacturing defects will be replaced at no cost.
Note: Damage caused during transit due to mishandling by courier services may require escalation with the logistics partner.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
At Disobedience, we pride ourselves on crafting artisanal, non-leather footwear that combines style and comfort. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
- Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging.
- Custom or final sale items are non-returnable, except for heel type changes.
- Online purchases or store credit redemptions cannot be exchanged or returned in-store.
Conditions for Returns & Store Credit
1. Refunds are provided only in the form of store credit.
2. Delivered products can be exchanged for another product or store credit.
3. Store credit is valid for 6 months from the issue date and can be used for future purchases.
4. Store credit cannot be combined with promotional or discount codes.
5. Items must be unused and undamaged. Worn or damaged items will not be accepted and may be returned to the customer
6. Custom orders requires a Rs.1000/- prepaid charge and are not eligible for return or exchange, except for heel type changes.
7. Size or style exchanges are allowed up to 2 times per order.
8. For style exchanges, promotional discounts do not apply and exchanges are made on MRP.
9. Reverse pickup will be attempted 2 times only. After that, customers must arrange return shipping at their own cost.
10. Our 6-months warranty covers manufacturing defects. Claims require product inspection and customer-provided shipping to our office for evaluation.

Return Request Review
Our team will confirm your request and arrange a reverse pickup.
Reverse Pickup
Please be available for pickup and respond to the delivery partner's calls.
Reverse pickup typically takes 3-4 business days.
Inspection
Once received, we’ll check that the shoes are unused and unworn.
Processing
Upon approval, your store credit or exchange will be issued.
Note: Some locations may not be serviceable for reverse pickup. In such cases, we may request you to use an alternate courier service.
Faulty Items
If you receive damaged or incorrect shoes, notify us within 24 hours with your Order ID and an unboxing video. We’ll replace faulty items at no extra cost within 7-10 days of return approval.
Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled within 30 minutes of placement by emailing support@thedisobedience.com with order ID.
- Prepaid orders will be refunded within 7-10 business days.
- Cancellations beyond this window will be refunded as store credit.
